I did this with drumettes and it turnd out quite well. I did not find it to be
messy, just delicious. CATEGORY: Meat Recipe Name: Orange Chicken Ingredients: 1 lb Chicken 1/2 c Orange juice concentrate 1/2 t Crushed red pepper flake Steps: * mix orange juice concentrate and crushed red pepper flake * coat chicken with orange mixture * bake at 350 until done, usually about 1 hour * pour juice from pan into saucepan and boil until thick then coat chicken before service NOTES: I suggest using chicken pieces for this instead of a whole chicken. If your chicken is frozen you can thaw it in the orange juice concentrate mix. I have no basis for this, but my opinion is that if you thaw a meat in the marinade you will cook it in that it absorbs it better. |
Food Whisperer, Gourmet, Inspired. Of these things I have been accused, I believe we all should be inspired! I know I inspire others to try new things in the kitchen. Food can, will and does change lives! It should be fun, easy and bring pleasure to our hearts, bodies, and souls. I embrace challenges like; cooking for multiple people with food allergies at once, creating medieval feasts, and cooking for whatever occasion or food inspires me.
